User Safety

Safety First Approach

Zeeën is designed to enable real-world connection in a safe, controlled, and respectful environment. Safety is a foundational principle of the platform and is enforced through product design, moderation systems, and clear behavioural standards.

All users are expected to act responsibly and respectfully at all times.

Core Safety Principles

  • Visibility is strictly opt-in and fully controllable by the user
  • Exact location data is never shared with other users
  • Users control what information they share and when
  • Users can block, report, and restrict others at any time
  • Safety enforcement actions are applied consistently and without warning where necessary

Consent and User Control

Zeeën operates on an explicit consent model. Users choose whether to be visible to others and may disable visibility at any time.

Users can:

  • Enable or disable visibility, including Ghost Mode
  • Control profile content and shared social links
  • Block specific users instantly
  • Report inappropriate behaviour or content

No user is ever required to interact with another user.

Prohibited Behaviour

The following behaviours are strictly prohibited on Zeeën:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or aggressive conduct
  • Stalking or attempting to follow users in real life
  • Unwanted or repeated attempts to contact another user
  • Threats, coercion, or exploitation of any kind
  • Impersonation or deceptive behaviour
  • Sharing harmful, explicit, or illegal content

Any behaviour that compromises the safety or wellbeing of another user will result in enforcement action.

User-Generated Content Safety

All content shared on Zeeën must comply with platform safety standards.

Users may not post or share:

  • Sexually explicit or pornographic material
  • Content involving violence or harm
  • Hate speech or discriminatory content
  • Content that exploits or endangers others

Content is subject to automated detection and manual moderation.

Child Safety & Exploitation

Zeeën enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).

Any content or behaviour involving harm to minors is prohibited and will result in immediate enforcement action, including account termination and reporting to relevant authorities.

For full details, see the Child Safety & Exploitation Policy.

Reporting and Enforcement

Zeeën provides in-app tools to report users, content, and behaviour.

When a report is received, Zeeën may:

  • Remove content
  • Restrict account functionality
  • Suspend or permanently ban users
  • Escalate matters to law enforcement where required

Reports are reviewed as a priority, particularly where safety risks are identified.

Account Enforcement

Zeeën reserves the right to take enforcement action without prior notice where safety concerns arise.

Serious violations, including harassment, exploitation, or illegal activity, will result in immediate and permanent account termination.

Privacy and Safety Integration

Zeeën's safety framework is designed alongside its privacy model:

  • No exact location tracking or sharing
  • Minimal data exposure between users
  • Temporary visibility based on proximity
  • User-controlled identity and sharing

This ensures that real-world discovery does not compromise personal safety.

Commitment to Continuous Improvement

Zeeën continuously improves its safety systems, moderation processes, and user controls to meet evolving regulatory requirements and user expectations.

Safety is not a feature. It is a core requirement of the platform.

Child Safety & Exploitation Policy

Zeeën has zero tolerance for any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation. We are committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users and strictly prohibit any content, behaviour, or activity that involves or promotes harm to minors.

  • Grooming behaviour, including attempts to build relationships with minors for exploitation
  • Solicitation of minors for sexual activity, images, or personal information

  • Any content that depicts, promotes, or normalises harm to children

This applies to all content types, including:

  • Profile images

  • Social links
  • User-generated content
  • External links shared through the platform

Detection & Prevention

Zeeën uses a combination of:

  • Automated content detection systems
  • Image moderation tools, including AI-assisted review
  • Behavioural monitoring
  • Manual moderation and reporting review

Content or accounts suspected of violating child safety standards will be reviewed immediately and may be removed without notice.

Reporting & Enforcement

If we detect or receive reports of child exploitation:

  • The account will be immediately suspended or permanently banned
  • Content will be removed
  • Relevant data may be preserved for investigation
  • We will report illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities and child protection organisations where required
